O livro, elaborado a partir de entrevistas que realizei com diversas pessoas que treinam ou vivem o cavalo, nas mais diversas modalidades, junto com minhas experiências pessoais, une aquilo que é comum em qualquer área do mundo equestre.
Ser Cavaleiro além do montar é uma introdução ao comportamento equino, comunicação humanos x cavalos e princípios de equitação e treinamento, tudo baseado em boas práticas equestres. Para compor, são mais de 60 ilustrações acompanhadas de pequenos textos de fácil leitura e citações de grandes pensadores e treinadores de cavalos.

"Being a Knight beyond riding" (free translate) is a book written and illustrated by me, Raquel Fernandes, released independently in 2021.
The book, created from interviews I carried out with several people who train or experience horses, in the most diverse modalities, together with my personal experiences, unites what is common in any area of the equestrian world.
"Being a Rider beyond riding" is an introduction to equine behavior, human x horse communication and principles of riding and training, all based on good equestrian practices. To compose it, there are more than 60 illustrations accompanied by small, easy-to-read texts and quotes from great thinkers and horse trainers.

As ilustrações foram feitas em caneta nanquim e caneta de gel branco sobre papel kraft, todas em tamanho A4. Porém, ao diagramar o livro, preferimos deixar as ilustrações em preto e branco, por considerar o efeito visual melhor.

The illustrations were made in ink pen and white gel pen on kraft paper, all in A4 size. However, when laying out the book, we preferred to leave the illustrations in black and white, as we considered the visual effect better.
